This presentation will describe the progress and outcomes of a project using Stata aimed to: develop automated resulting; improve data management, integrity and accountability; improve efficiency of calculations of item statistics, graphics and tools for analysis of individual questions and examinations as a whole automate as much as practicable reporting to stakeholders.
In this presentation we present a user-written Stata command called XTKR that implements the Keane and Runkle (1992) approach; apply the estimator to an empirical application, and present new Monte Carlo evidence that shows that this approach can perform better than the popular alternatives.
xtcluster can be used to either assess the assumption of slope homogeneity in linear short panel data models, or to discover potential heterogeneous clusters (an exploratory data approach).
