Oceania Stata User Group Meeting 2017 - Call for papers

The 2017 Oceania Stata User Group Meeting will be held in Canberra on 28-29 September 2017. The focus of the meeting is to connect researchers from different disciplines, to share ideas across research fields.

We are seeking papers from all disciplines that:

  1. Demonstrate features of Stata that are not commonly known or applied
  2. Describe the innovative use of Stata
  3. Introduce new user-written commands
  4. Demonstrate the role of Mata
  5. Demonstrate new features of Stata
  6. Apply the use of Stata in practical research

The Stata User Group Meeting welcomes presenters from all areas of fields, including (in no particular order):

Submissions for a short (25-minute) or key-note (40-minute) presentation should include an abstract of no more than 200 words (ASCII text, no math symbols).

If you have an idea about a topic that you think would be of interest to Stata users or have a paper that you would like to present, please submit your abstract by 31 May 2017.

Scientific Committee:

This year our Scientific Committee comprises Con Menictas (University of Newcastle), Demetris Christodoulou (The University of Sydney), JinJing Li (University of Canberra), Jo Dipnall (Deakin University), Joanna Sikora (Australian National University), Paul Hakendorf (Flinders University), Philip Morrison (Victoria University of Wellington) and Steve Quinn (Swinburne University of Technology). All submissions will be considered by the Scientific Committee.

Submission Guidelines

Complete the form below and attach an abstract of approximately 200 words (ASCII text, no mathematical symbols). Please include a short, informative title, and indicate whether you wish to be considered for a short (25-minute) or key-note (40-minute) presentation. If your presentation has multiple authors, please identify the presenter.
